Final reminder - History will be made tomorrow!
History will be made tomorrow - I’m not even joking.
If you are a .NET developer (which I highly suspect, given that you are subscribed to my newsletter), you will be affected by the upcoming .NET 10 release, and possibly even Visual Studio 2026.
In 2005, when I first started with .NET development and learned this new programming language called C#, I never thought we would be where we are today.
Twenty years later, we will get version 10 after a complete rewrite. What seemed like a Windows-only dead-end quickly transformed into a cross-platform, modern, and future-proof software development ecosystem.
You can watch .NET Conf 2025 live (I highly recommend the YouTube live stream), where top-notch speakers, including top-tier Microsoft personnel, will talk about what’s new in .NET 10 and C# 14.
Or, you subscribe to my YouTube channel and watch the compressed version of what you need to know about C# 14 and .NET 10.
Similar to previous years, I will create a video discussing .NET 10 and C# 14, which will be available shortly after its release.
I want to include all the relevant last-minute information. Therefore, I won’t pre-produce. Instead, I will work a long day tomorrow.
That’s it for today - less than 24 hours until we get .NET 10!
I wish you a great start to this special week - and I look forward to talking to you again soon.
