The Story of the Week & Important News šŸŽ„

Letā€™s start with theĀ story of my weekĀ before I have someĀ important newsĀ to share with you. šŸ‘‡

This week was aĀ slow weekĀ for me. Well, I had a few things lined up that I wanted to do.

For example, I wanted to record and upload one last video for theĀ YouTube channelĀ for this year.

Or I wanted to finally write a blog about why and how I migrated myĀ personal websiteĀ with over 150 blog posts from WordPress to a static site.

However, life got in the way. I had a lot of personal stuff to take care of and a few company-related tasks, such as talking to insurance about changing things in 2025.

In the past, I used toĀ beat myself upĀ when I could not reach my goals for the week.

I tried to counter more tasks by working evenĀ harder and working more hours than I had already planned.

This often leads to less sleep and a loss of motivation. Ultimately, I got into a spinning wheel of bad feelings and performance. šŸ˜’

The learning for me was that sometimesĀ you have to let go.

Be it a bad week at work, a problem that you cannot solve, or something else that takes way more than than planned.

It happens to all of us - and itā€™s okay. šŸ¤—

As long as itā€™s not happening every week, itā€™s all good.
